I can’t believe June is coming to an end! We spend all winter waiting to switch our boots for sandals and sweaters for t-shirts, only to see summer flying by.
Since summer only comes once a year, I’ve been trying to make a more conscious effort to build some R&R time into my schedule.
Because I’m so passionate about my business, I feel like my work is play. However, I have to remind myself that it’s important to take a true mental break & put away the laptop once the weekend rolls around!
Last Sunday I was at Prospect Park with a group of friends, including Nathalie Lussier and her cute pup Millie. Nathalie is a business strategist and digital visionary, who is also super sweet and passionate about her work.
Taking a break with Nathalie was incredibly healthy. It gave me the time to enjoy the beautiful weather and the company of my friends. But it was also great because by the time I got home, I felt refreshed and ready to take on the week ahead.
